Early Easter Sunday Service – Sunday April 5, 2026 at 8:00am at Melville United Church ***This is an indoor service in the sanctuary with a potluck breakfast after the service. Bring your favourite breakfast dish to share. Coffee, juice and hot chocolate will be provided. Bring a game if you are planning to stay between services.
Regular Easter Sunday Service – Sunday April 5 at 11:00am at Melville United Church. Communion will take place during this service

Sunday School
Have a look at our children in Sunday School activities.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: The nursery/junior class teachers are asking for HELP!! ONLY 45 minutes of your time – ONCE- out of the WHOLE church year, to spend with the children. ALL lessons are VERY easy to follow and have been prepared by Heather and Pat. Call Pat @ 519-868-6552
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, classes for children 5yrs and up will take place in the upstairs meeting room/new nursery.

UCW – March 30 at 1:30 p.m – UCW will be meeting in the lower level of the church. All are welcome to attend.
Yoga – Weekly on Wednesday & Thursday 9-10:30am $5/person. All are welcome.
Melville Makers – Monday April 20 at 1pm – 3:30pm (3rd Monday of each month) All are welcome to come and craft or just join in our lively chat.
FOOD COLLECTION FOR FOOD BANK: In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the United Church of Canada, the Congregational Life Team of Melville UC is organizing a collection of food items for the Ailsa Craig and Area Food Bank.
For the month of April, you are invited to donate brown or white sugar
Safe Food Handling course – Charlene has made an enquiry about having a one day (approx. 6 hrs) Safe Food Handling course at the church, if enough people are interested. We would need ten people to attend in order to have someone come from the Health Unit. It could be a weekday or on Saturday. If you know of someone from the community who would be interested please pass on this message. Contact Charlene Darel via email charlenedavedarel@gmail.com if you are interested in taking this course.
